Privacy policy

Migrainer Notes is a personal headache diary. This policy explains how the app handles information you choose to provide.

1. Information you record

You may enter attack times, pain intensity and locations, associated symptoms, personal notes, medication names, doses, intake times and remarks. This information supports the diary, trends, Overview, import, export and related reminders.

2. Storage & synchronization

Records are saved on your device first. When you enable iCloud, Apple CloudKit synchronizes records through your private database to devices using the same Apple Account. We do not operate servers for advertising or analytics.

3. File import & export

When you import or export JSON, CSV or Markdown, the system file picker and share sheet send files to the destination you select. The app does not automatically upload these files. An import preview and a local recovery backup are created before records are changed.

4. Notifications

The app schedules reminders to record an attack’s end time only after you grant permission. You can disable notifications in system settings at any time.

5. Deletion

Deleted records move to Recently Deleted, where you can restore or permanently delete them. Deleting local data does not remove backups stored in your Apple Account or elsewhere.

6. Third parties & tracking

The app has no advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDKs or social features. We do not sell your health records or use them for targeted advertising.

7. Medical disclaimer

The app is for personal records and communication with clinicians. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, dosage advice or emergency care. Follow your clinician’s instructions and take medication as prescribed.
